On June 11, 2026, Salesforce, the No. 1 AI CRM, announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire m3ter, a leading metering and rating platform purpose-built for consumption-based monetization. The acquisition will bring high-volume mediation, metering, and rating capabilities natively to Agentforce Revenue Management, enabling enterprises to launch, track, scale, and bill with the flexible usage and outcome-based pricing models needed for the AI era. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati advised m3ter on the transaction.
m3ter’s platform is designed for near real-time performance at enterprise scale, allowing customers to seamlessly ingest product usage data, dynamically configure consumption-based billing scenarios, and automate monetization data flows across CRM, ERP, and quote-to-cash systems.
