Community

One of the firm’s founding values is giving back to the communities where we live and work by pursuing justice for the underserved and supporting those in need. Wilson Sonsini advances this commitment through its Community Impact program, with a strong focus on pro bono advocacy and service, an emphasis shaped by founding partner John Wilson and longtime partner Harry Bremond, one of the first Black attorneys in the Bay Area.

• Through our community giving program, firm employees raised more than $130,000 in 2025 for charitable organizations and causes, including local food banks fighting food insecurity, support for survivors and veterans, health- and environment-related causes, and holiday programs.
• Employees also participated in 125 community service activities firmwide, partnering with 104 nonprofit organizations to support these initiatives. 
• In 2025, the Wilson Sonsini Foundation awarded 270 grants funding 240 organizations globally and across the U.S., amounting to more than $2.3 million overall.
