The UK-based start-up is growing the first biological brain systems at scale for machine learning training and inference workloads. Firm Advises Frontier Computing on $10 Million Pre-Seed Round
On September 1, 2026, Frontier Computing announced that it has raised $10 million in a pre-seed round of financing. The round was led by General Catalyst, with participation from Amino Collective, LocalGlobe, Kaya, and Long Journey Ventures. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati advised Frontier Computing on the transaction.

The UK-based start-up is growing the first biological brain systems at scale for machine learning training and inference workloads. Led by Cambridge natural scientist Michael Domarkas, the company says it has solved the vascularization problem that keeps academic brain organoids below 1 million neurons.

The Wilson Sonsini team that advised Frontier on the financing included Brad Doline, Michael Labriola, and Liam Holohan.
