Dantam Chan is an associate in the New York office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where her practice focuses on privacy and data security. She routinely helps clients identify, evaluate, and implement practical solutions to use and manage risks with respect to data, including in the context of mergers, acquisitions, and other commercial transactions. Dantam advises clients ranging from start-ups to multinational public companies on compliance with data protection requirements, negotiates privacy and data security provisions in commercial transactions, and engages in privacy and data security due diligence.

Prior to joining the firm, Dantam worked in the privacy legal department at Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. During law school, she interned at a boutique law firm specializing in privacy, technology, and internet law. Dantam also worked in-house at both private and public technology companies, where she drafted and negotiated privacy policies and commercial agreements and assisted with GDPR and CCPA compliance efforts.
