On February 26, 2025, IonQ, a leader in the quantum computing and networking industries, announced that it has reached a definitive agreement with SK Telecom, the largest wireless telecommunications operator in South Korea, and Geneva-based ID Quantique, a global leader in quantum safe networking and sensing, to acquire a controlling stake in ID Quantique.
