    Jindrich advises clients on antitrust matters before the European Commission and other competition agencies, including on abuse of dominance, cartels, and other behavioral investigations. He provides strategic antitrust counseling on a wide range of issues, including competitor collaborations, distribution, and licensing agreements as well as compliance with and business opportunities under European digital regulations.

    Jindrich is at the forefront of the intersection of sustainability and competition law, advising clients on sustainability collaborations and compliance with the CSRD and other EU sustainability regulations.

    Jindrich leverages more than 15 years of antitrust enforcement experience at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Competition and as the executive director of operations at the Hong Kong Competition Commission to provide clients with strategic guidance on complex antitrust procedures and risk based counseling advice.

Head of Wilson Sonsini’s European antitrust team, Jindrich Kloub represents clients in high-stakes antitrust investigations, cartel defense, and digital markets regulation matters, providing strategic counsel on navigating enforcement processes across jurisdictions in Europe and Hong Kong. He defends companies facing regulatory scrutiny and helps clients secure remedies in complex antitrust disputes. His expertise covers abuse of dominance, cartels, distribution and licensing agreements, competitor collaborations, and sustainability initiatives, including compliance with EU sustainability regulations.

With deep insight into agency processes and global enforcement dynamics, Jindrich draws on his leadership experience at competition authorities to guide clients through complex regulatory landscapes. Before joining Wilson Sonsini, he served as executive director of operations at the Hong Kong Competition Commission, overseeing the agency’s enforcement strategy and investigations. Prior to 2017, he spent over a decade at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Competition, where he was a lead attorney on precedent-setting international cartel cases in financial services, including LIBOR and Forex benchmark investigations.

Jindrich is a frequent speaker and author on competition law and maintains deep connections within the international enforcement community. He has been a visiting professor of competition law at Université Catholique de Lille since 2010.

2026 ABA Antitrust International Cartel Workshop
Wilson Sonsini partners Brent Snyder and Jindrich Kloub will play key roles at the 2026 ABA Antitrust International Cartel Workshop in Vienna. Serving as Workshop Vice Chair, Brent Snyder contributes significantly to developing a program centered on developments and trends in international cartel enforcement as well as best practices through “demonstrations” based on a hypothetical cartel. In addition to his leadership role, Brent oversaw the drafting of the hypothetical on which the Workshop will be based, and Wilson Sonsini associate Paige Hammond will participate in the “Introduction to the Hypothetical” session, setting the stage for the Workshop’s in-depth demonstrations of a global cartel investigation.
