On June 24, 2021, Amazon Music announced that it is acquiring ART19, an innovative company that enables podcast creators to manage, distribute, analyze, and monetize their work. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati is representing ART19 in the transaction.

Together, Amazon Music and ART19 will be able to expand their offerings and better serve users’ podcasting needs. In a statement posted to its website, ART19 said it is looking forward to “empowering even more podcast creators with the solutions they need to engage listeners and monetize their work.”
