Michael Montfort is senior counsel in the Washington, D.C., office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he is a member of the employee benefits and compensation practice.

Michael has experience with employee benefit and compensation aspects of mergers and acquisitions, executive compensation, equity compensation, and group employee benefit programs.

Prior to joining the firm, Michael practiced in the national tax department of Ernst & Young LLP, concentrating on taxation of equity compensation, fringe benefit programs, and qualified retirement plans.
