On April 9, 2026, Palo Alto-based Elorian AI, a start-up building models for visual reasoning, emerged from stealth and announced a $55 million seed funding led by Striker Ventures, Menlo Ventures, and Altimeter. 49 Palms, prominent AI researchers, and other investors also participated in the round. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati advised Elorian on the transaction.
Elorian is founded by researchers who have spent their careers working on the core technologies behind today's AI systems, and have led breakthroughs across pretraining, data, and vision modeling. Funding from the round will be used for research and development.
