On May 18, 2021, Copper, a London-based digital asset infrastructure provider, announced the close of a $50 million Series B funding round. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati represented Copper in the financing.
The Series B round was co-led by leading B2B software investor Dawn Capital and Target Global, bringing the total funds raised to date to $60 million. Copper will use the funds to broaden its international footprint, particularly across the US and Asia. The company also will announce key high-profile hires across its strategy, business development, and operations departments, leading to a tripling of headcount by the end of the year.
The Wilson Sonsini team advising Copper includes partners Daniel Glazer and Michael Labriola, and associates Elisa Sielski and Betty Rosenbaum.
