Tanner Kuenneth is an associate in the Austin office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he advises founders and their companies as they form, raise capital, scale, and exit. His practice focuses on helping private, venture-backed companies of all sizes solve problems through each stage of their lifecycle.

Tanner regularly advises companies on capital raises ranging from $1 million pre-seed funding, $50+ million growth financing, and even $500+ million late-stage capital raises, across from a diverse range of venture capital, growth equity, and strategic investors, including Lightspeed, Interlagos, Ravelin, Point72, ARK, Silver Lake, Clearlake, Fidelity, Toyota Ventures, Samsung Ventures, and others.

No matter the industry or lifecycle stage, Tanner is focused on helping his clients raise capital quickly, scale operations efficiently, and manage risk deliberately.

During law school, Tanner worked with the in-house legal department at Impossible Foods, served as editor-in-chief of the Stanford Technology Law Review, and served as a teaching assistant for Stanford’s Venture Capital Law course.

On March 26, 2026, Helix Earth, a hardware company built on proprietary liquid-gas chemistry with roots in NASA aerospace technology, announced the successful close of its $12 million oversubscribed Seed 2 funding. The oversubscribed financing round was led by Veriten, with participation from Rua Ventures, Carnrite Ventures, Skywriter LLC, Textbook Ventures, and others.
