Squire’s cell biology and neuroscience and biomedical engineering background, combined with his experiences as a life sciences executive, investor, and attorney, grant him in-depth industry acumen and insights into what is needed to take innovative life science technologies from concept to commercialization.
Pragmatic Business and Legal Experience

Squire’s experience as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Repligen Corporation and Associate General Counsel at Baxter International, Inc., where he was the chief legal advisor and a senior leadership member for the approximately $2 billion global pharmaceuticals business division, gives him a solid combination of practical business experience and an intimate understanding of the legal risks involved in running life sciences companies.

Squire Servance is Senior Of Counsel in the New York office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he is a member of the patents and innovation practice. Squire is an attorney and senior executive with extensive experience advising and leading life sciences organizations, including as managing partner of a biotech venture studio and fund and general counsel and corporate secretary for a Nasdaq listed life sciences company.

He has extensive expertise in strategic planning, patent counseling, legal strategy, M&A and licensing, risk management, and product commercialization, with deep knowledge about the unique challenges in the life sciences industry. Squire has also forged relationships with key life sciences industry stakeholders necessary to advance innovative products through the drug development process.
