Moncarol Wang is an associate in the Palo Alto office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where her practice focuses on real estate. She represents clients in a wide range of commercial real estate and business transactions, with particular expertise in buy-side acquisitions and tenant-side office, life science, and industrial leasing. In addition to her commercial acquisitions and leasing practice, Moncarol advises and counsels corporate clients on real estate issues that arise in mergers and acquisitions across various industries.

During law school at the University of Chicago, she served as staff for the student-edited topical legal journal The University of Chicago Legal Forum for two years. She also served with the Corporate Lab Clinic, where she assisted clients with regulatory and copyright matters. In addition, she completed a summer internship during this time with Calpine Corporation’s legal department.

Before law school, Moncarol completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley, and worked in tax compliance and consulting at Deloitte Tax’s San Jose office. She also worked as an assistant at San Francisco boutique law firm Buffington & Aaron.

On June 22, 2026, Quantum Computing Inc. (QCi), an innovative, quantum optics and integrated photonics technology company, announced the completion of acquiring NHanced Semiconductors for a combination of cash and QCi stock valued at $73.1 million, subject to customary adjustments, and up to an additional $72.0 million if certain performance targets are achieved. Wilson Sonsini Advises Kiavi on $717 Million Acquisition by Figure
On June 10, 2026, Figure Technology Solutions (Figure), the blockchain-native capital marketplace for the origination, funding, sale, and trading of tokenized assets, announced a definitive agreement to acquire Kiavi, an AI-powered lending platform for residential real estate investors. The transaction includes the purchase of Kiavi’s balance sheet assets by a joint venture between Figure and Sixth Street, a leading global investment firm, who is buying loans off Kiavi’s balance sheet. The total transaction purchase price is $717 million. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati is advising Kiavi on the transaction.
