Matt Garnica is an associate in the San Diego office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. His practice focuses on patent prosecution and intellectual property counseling in a wide range of technology fields, including molecular diagnostics, tools, and genomics. Matt has prepared and prosecuted patent applications in the United States and in various foreign jurisdictions.

During law school, Matt was a legal extern at the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. He gained experience in patent law through his position as an intellectual property research assistant. Matt also completed a legal internship focused on intellectual property law at a large biotechnology and laboratory equipment company.
