Lauren Beausoleil is an associate in the Boston office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where she is a member of the patents and innovations practice. Lauren previously worked at Wilson Sonsini as a scientific advisor and, later, as a registered patent agent. During her time at the firm, Lauren has most frequently worked with clients involved in life sciences and related technologies.

Prior to attending law school, Lauren attended Boston College, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. Her technical experience includes laboratory work with the James Morken Research Group, Boston College Department of Chemistry, in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, and as an intern for the Medicinal Chemistry Group at Teva Pharmaceuticals in West Chester, Pennsylvania.

During law school, Lauren acted an Executive Note Editor of the Boston College Law Review. Lauren was also the Executive Editor for Boston College Law School’s Intellectual Property and Technology Forum, an online-based forum devoted to scholarship among law students interested in intellectual property. After her first year of law school, she spent the summer as a judicial intern at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. After her second year, Lauren joined Wilson Sonsini as a summer associate.

Wilson Sonsini Advises Boundless Bio on IP Matters Related to IPO
On March 27, 2024, Boundless Bio, a clinical stage oncology company interrogating extrachromosomal DNA (ecDNA) biology to deliver transformative therapies to patients with previously intractable oncogene amplified cancers, announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 6,250,000 shares of its common stock at an initial public offering price of $16.00 per share. All of the shares were offered by Boundless Bio. The gross proceeds from the offering, before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and other offering expenses, are expected to be $100.0 million. Boundless Bio’s common stock began trading on the Nasdaq Global Select Market on March 28, 2024, under the ticker symbol “BOLD," and closed on April 2, 2024. In addition, Boundless Bio has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 937,500 shares of common stock at the initial public offering price, less underwriting discounts and commissions.
