Kate Stonestreet is the chief operating officer at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where she oversees all firm operations. With more than 30 years of leadership experience in global law firm management and a deep understanding of global clients, practices, sectors, and geographies, Kate leads strategy and execution across all functional areas.

Prior to joining Wilson Sonsini, Kate served as the global chief operating officer at Baker McKenzie, where she worked with the Executive Committee and subsequently the Global Management Committee. Kate worked closely with the firm’s chair, chief executives, board members, and partnership to implement business solutions, instill financial discipline, foster client engagement, and deploy people tools to drive performance, revenue growth, and an enhanced client experience. She began her tenure at Baker as the director of business development for Hong Kong, China, and Vietnam, and then for Asia Pacific, and proceeded to serve as COO for those geographies, regional COO of EMEA, and global director of operations prior to her appointment as global COO. Kate also served as a member of the Global Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity Committee, the Global Risk Committee, and the IT Security Council, as well as co-chair of the Crisis Management Response Team.
