He guides clients through VC financings and M&A transactions, with a particular focus in AI, crypto/fintech, gaming/digital entertainment, and cybersecurity.

Jonathan brings an operator's perspective to venture dealmaking. Before returning to Wilson Sonsini, he was co-founder, COO, and board member of Fig, a venture-backed investment platform that provided more than $15 million in funding to independent game developers and was later acquired by Republic. Earlier, he served as senior director of business development and business affairs at Electronic Arts, where he led dozens of commercial transactions and partnerships across distribution, platforms, and publishing.

A frequent speaker and author on venture capital financings, Jonathan has presented at Practising Law Institute events, Consensus TechCrunch, and universities such as UC Berkeley, Caltech, Rice, Stanford, and UCLA.
