On October 9, 2026, TypeSafe AI, a company building machine-native AI models, announced it raised a $870 million Series A at a $7.5 billion valuation led by a16z. Sequoia Capital, existing investor DCVC, and other angel investors also participated in the round. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati advised TypeSafe AI on the transaction.
