On September 9, 2026, Encoded Therapeutics, a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing precision genetic medicines for severe neurological disorders, announced it closed a $275 million Series F financing co-led by GV and another healthcare fund, with participation from ARCH Venture Partners, Braidwell LP, Farallon Capital Management, Illumina Ventures, Invus, Janus Henderson Investors, Matrix Capital Management, Nolan Capital, RTW Investments, SoftBank Vision Fund 2, and Venrock. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati advised Encoded Therapeutics on the transaction.
Proceeds will support the pivotal study of ETX101 in infants and young children with SCN1A+ Dravet syndrome, as well as an expansion study in children and adolescents up to 18 years of age. Funding will also support commercial scale-up of internal GMP manufacturing capabilities and pipeline advancement, including ETX301 toward a 2027 Investigational New Drug (IND) submission for post-amputation neuroma pain.
