On March 27, 2025, Abound, a remittance app that was spun off by Times Internet, announced the successful completion of a $14 million financing round led by NEAR Foundation with participation from Circle Ventures, Times Internet, and other investors. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati advised Abound on the transaction.

Abound enables users to transfer money to India, earn rewards, and receive cash back on various services. The company intends to utilize the new funding to broaden its reach, enhance its service offerings, and upgrade its technological infrastructure.
