On January 20, 2021, the Daily Journal recognized Katharine Martin, corporate partner and chair of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati’s board of directors, as a “Top Lawyer of the Decade.” The list features 18 attorneys who have made incredible contributions to the legal profession over the past 10 years.

The accompanying profile recognizes Katie for her work advising innovative California companies, including Lyft, one of the companies transforming transportation and gig economy, and LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional network. It also highlights Katie’s role as outside counsel to Twitter, guiding the company through multiple transactions, including its initial public offering. Katie is specifically noted as a key figure in the rise of social media companies and the impact they have had on the world in the past decade.
