Firm Advises CoVet on Acquisition by IDEXX
On September 16, 2026, IDEXX Laboratories, Inc., a global leader in pet healthcare innovation, announced the acquisition of CoVetAI Inc. (CoVet), a leading and rapidly growing provider of AI-native ambient listening and clinical workflow software for veterinary practices. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati advised CoVet on the transaction.
CoVet helps veterinary teams automatically capture and organize information across the patient care journey, from consultation to treatment planning and client follow-up, reducing documentation burden and saving clinicians’ time. The acquisition expands the value of IDEXX’s software, diagnostics, and AI offerings by making information more accessible, actionable, and connected across the practice. CoVet will be integrated into the IDEXX software ecosystem, which will continue to support other ambient scribe solutions and third-party integrations. CoVet will also continue to integrate with non-IDEXX practice management systems.

Wilson Sonsini Advises DoorDash on $300 Million Acquisition of Wonder’s Grubhub Campus Dining Business
On September 15, 2026, DoorDash, a global leader in local commerce, and Wonder, a leading food technology platform, announced that DoorDash will acquire Wonder's Grubhub Campus Dining business for $300 million. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati advised DoorDash on the transaction.
Grubhub Campus Dining, formerly known as Tapingo, enables millions of students at more than 450 colleges and universities to order a meal from campus dining facilities and on-campus restaurants using its mobile app or kiosks, pay for the meal with campus dining dollars, and schedule the pickup. Following the close of the transaction, DoorDash intends to continue expanding Grubhub Campus Dining in the U.S., enhance the selection and convenience available to students, and bring Tapingo’s vertically integrated technology stack beyond college campuses to stadiums, hotels, and other similar venues.

FTC Conditions Aurobindo’s Acquisition of Lannett on Divestiture of Four Generic Drugs
On June 18, 2026, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) announced that it would allow Aurobindo Pharma Limited’s approximately $250 million acquisition of Lannett Company, Inc. to proceed, subject to a proposed consent order requiring Aurobindo to divest four overlapping generic pharmaceutical products to Quagen Pharmaceuticals, LLC. The Commission voted 2-0 to issue an administrative complaint and accept the consent agreement for a 30-day public comment period.
