Wilson Sonsini Advises Crux on $50 Million Series B
On April 16, 2025, Crux, a capital markets technology company for the clean economy, announced that it has raised $50 million in Series B funding led by Lowercarbon Capital. Existing investors Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Ardent Venture Partners, CIV, New System Ventures, and The Three Cairns Group participated in the round. These investors are joined by new investors Liberty Mutual Strategic Ventures, MassMutual Ventures, and OMERS Ventures. Venture capital firms Acrew Capital and Giant Ventures also joined the round. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati advised Crux on the transaction.
The Series B round brings Crux’s total funding to over $77 million and will help drive its next phase of growth. The company plans to use the new capital to meet its mission of supporting developers, manufacturers, investors, and lenders through all stages of capital formation. This funding round comes on the heels of Crux’s latest platform innovation: its debt capital marketplace which opens access to a range of debt products alongside Crux’s powerful transferable tax credit marketplace.

On January 28, 2025, TravelPerk, a business travel platform based in Barcelona, Spain, and Zurich, Switzerland, raised $200 million in Series E funding. The oversubscribed round doubled the company's valuation to $2.7 billion. The funding was led by Atomico and EQT Growth, with participation from Noteus Partners and existing investors, including Kinnevik and General Catalyst. The funding was led by General Catalyst, with other investors including CVS Health Ventures, UPMC Enterprises, Eden Global Partners, Euclidean Capital, Samsung Next, TriplePoint Capital, and Declaration Partners also participating. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati advised Redesign Health on the transaction.
Founded in 2018, Redesign Health researches, assembles, brands, and launches healthcare start-ups by tapping into its team of entrepreneurs, healthcare industry operators, business analysts, and investors. To date, Redesign Health has launched more than 40 companies, including Ever/body, which focuses on cosmetic dermatology; cancer-care company Jasper; and metabolic health company Calibrate. According to the company’s founder and CEO, Brett Shaheen, Redesign Health plans to create more than 25 companies this year alone. The proceeds from the latest funding will benefit Redesign Health’s own operations and platform, rather than being doled out to the operating companies it has founded.

Nashi’s product will become Workplace by Density, and their world-class team will join Density’s San Francisco office and broader distributed team. The Workplace application expedites the space allocation and planning process, integrates seamlessly with HR systems, and allows workplace admins to drag and drop entire teams onto the spaces they have permission to reserve once they return to the office.
