On November 14, 2025, ABL Bio announced a broad strategic research and development alliance with Eli Lilly and Company, establishing a multi-program collaboration to advance next-generation therapeutics using ABL Bio’s Grabody Platform. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati advised ABL Bio on the license, research, and collaboration agreement, which is valued at up to $2.602 billion, including a $40 million upfront payment. Through this partnership, ABL Bio and Lilly will jointly explore and develop multiple therapeutic modalities across a range of disease areas, marking a significant expansion of ABL Bio’s platform-driven global collaborations.

On February 12, 2025, Biolog, a leading provider of cell-based microbial and phenotypic profiling products and multiomic microbial identification services, announced the acquisition of Anaerobe Systems. The acquisition will be funded through a financing led by J.P. Morgan Life Sciences Private Capital with participation from existing investors BroadOak Capital Partners and Research Corporation Technologies. Wilson Sonsini Advises Neptune Medical on $97 Million Series D Financing
On August 15, 2024, Neptune Medical, a leader in medical device innovation, announced the completion of a $97 million Series D financing. Sonder Capital and Olympus Corporation of the Americas were significant participants in the round, which included investments from other existing and new investors. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati advised Neptune Medical on the transaction.

The financing will strengthen Neptune Medical as a gastrointestinal-focused company expanding into robotics for GI disease, as evidenced by the recent appointment of medical robotics pioneer Dr. Fred Moll as chairman of the company’s board.

Neptune Medical also announced the successful spinout of its subsidiary, Jupiter Endovascular, which is developing a new class of endovascular procedures to bring the precision and control of direct surgical access to catheter-based interventions. Wilson Sonsini will represent Jupiter Endovascular moving forward.

The Wilson Sonsini team that advised Neptune Medical on the Series D financing included James Huie, Brian Appel, MJ Han, and Ryan Isola.

Wilson Sonsini Advises Respiratory Motion on $44 Million Acquisition by Senzime
On July 1, 2022, Senzime completed the acquisition of 100 percent of the shares in Respiratory Motion, as was made public on June 1, 2022. Senzime's board of directors has resolved to issue 2,127,537 new shares to the sellers of Respiratory Motion at a subscription price of SEK18.59 per share. Respiratory Motion is a Boston-based medtech company that develops and commercializes systems for the monitoring of respiratory function and other vital signs. The company's solution—ExSpiron—is the only non-invasive system on the market that monitors patients' breathing volume and real-time breathing frequency. The system is CE and FDA approved and validated on over 6,000 patients.
