Christopher Paniewski Honored Among Daily Journal’s 2021 “Top 40 Under 40”
On July 28, 2021, Wilson Sonsini partner Christopher Paniewski was recognized on the Daily Journal’s list of the “Top 40 Under 40.” The annual list celebrates the achievements of California’s young attorneys.
In the accompanying profile, Christopher is recognized for advising on two significant transactions in the self-driving vehicle technology business. Specifically, he represented Lyft on the intellectual property and commercial matters related to the $550 million sale of its self-driving division to Woven Planet Holdings – a subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corporation. Christopher also advised Aurora Innovation on the IP and commercial matters related to its acquisition of Uber Technology’s self-driving unit.
The Daily Journal also brings attention to Christopher’s leadership role as a founding member of Wilson Sonsini’s electronic gaming group. Formed by associates approximately two years ago, the group explores the legal nuances of the industry.
