Tawkir Chowdhury is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where his practice focuses on complex civil litigation. He has experience representing clients in complex commercial disputes, securities matters, and intellectual property disputes. He has also assisted clients facing civil and criminal investigations, as well as with internal investigations related to compliance issues.
Before joining Wilson Sonsini, Tawkir served as a law clerk to the Honorable Amit P. Mehta of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. He previously practiced as an associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.
In law school, Tawkir participated as a clinical student in the Criminal and Juvenile Justice Clinic. In that role, he worked on all aspects of criminal litigation. As a clinical student, Tawkir delivered closing arguments at an evidentiary hearing, arguing for the exclusion of a key piece of evidence.
Prior to law school, Tawkir was a corporate paralegal both in-house and at prominent law firms.
Tawkir is admitted in New York. He is not yet admitted to practice in California and therefore not authorized to practice law in California.
