Sonali Sanyal is senior counsel in the New York office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where her practice focuses on the representation of venture capital funds and emerging growth companies in capital-raising transactions, corporate governance matters, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.

Prior to joining the firm, Sonali was general counsel at ACME Capital, a generalist early-stage venture capital firm based in San Francisco. Previously, she was an associate at Wilson Sonsini in the corporate group, where she also worked on emerging company and venture capital matters and mergers and acquisitions. Sonali started her career at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in the Private Funds practice.
