Samantha Hussey is an associate in the Seattle office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where she focuses on employment and trade secret matters. Sam supports clients in a wide variety of employment litigation cases, including discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful terminations; wage and hour; and employee mobility disputes. She also advises clients on day-to-day matters, including employee classification, hiring and termination practices, employment policies, enforcement of restrictive covenants, workplace accommodations, and workplace investigations.
Sam also supports clients from an employment perspective in corporate transactions, such as mergers, acquisitions, asset purchases, and financings. In her practice, she has represented both buyers and sellers in various transactions, including cross-border and other complex deals.
In addition, Sam maintains an active pro bono practice. She has worked on impact litigation with the ACLU of Washington, Native American Rights Fund, and Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance; represented clients in human trafficking, immigration, and wage dispute proceedings; and advised nonprofit clients on day-to-day employment matters.
During law school, Sam was a Rule 9 Licensed Legal Intern with the University of Washington Student Legal Services, where she advised student clients on a range of legal issues, including landlord-tenant, immigration, and family law.
