Michelle Ullman is an associate in the San Francisco office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where her practice focuses on artificial intelligence, privacy, data protection, and regulatory compliance.

Michelle has experience representing companies in investigations brought by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). She has advised clients regarding compliance with various privacy laws, including Section 5 of the FTC Act, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and various state comprehensive privacy laws, as well as consumer protection laws, including the Restore Online Shoppers’ Confidence Act (ROSCA). She has also worked with clients to develop compliance frameworks—including fulfilling obligations under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Michelle is a classically trained violinist and is fluent in Russian.
