Dr. Megan Jamroz is a senior patent counselor at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Megan has been working in the field of intellectual property since 2001, and she has been a registered patent agent since 2003. Her practice focuses on various aspects of intellectual property law.

Megan provides clients with patent preparation and prosecution services, including diligence and counseling relating to strategic patent portfolio maintenance and growth. She has extensive drafting and prosecution experience in a variety of technologies, including neurological disorders such as autism, attention deficit disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder; antibody therapeutics; cancer therapeutics; synthetic biology; microbially driven hydrocarbon utilization; protein- and gene-based therapies; and treatment of autoimmune diseases.

Prior to rejoining the firm, Megan worked as a patent agent for Synthetic Genomics in San Diego and Ropes & Gray in Boston. She is a former U.S. Patent and Trademark Office examiner in the biotechnology arts. Following the completion of her Ph.D., Megan completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease, National Institutes of Health.

On September 4, 2024, eGenesis, a biotechnology company developing human-compatible engineered organs to address the global organ shortage, announced the close of a $191 million Series D financing. Proceeds will be used to advance the company’s lead product candidate, EGEN-2784, to a first-in-human study for kidney xenotransplant. The funding will also be used to advance pipeline programs as well as scale production. Wilson Sonsini Advises Harpoon Therapeutics on IP Matters Related to $100 Million Public Offering
On January 6, 2021, Harpoon Therapeutics, Inc. announced the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 5,882,352 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $17 per share. Harpoon Therapeutics expects the gross proceeds from the sale of the shares will be approximately $100 million, before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and offering expenses payable by Harpoon Therapeutics. In addition, Harpoon Therapeutics has granted the underwriters in the offering a 30-day option to purchase up to 882,352 additional shares of common stock at the public offering price. The offering is expected to close on January 11, 2021, subject to customary closing conditions. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati advised Harpoon Therapeutics on IP matters related to the transaction.
