Madelyn Chen is a litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.
Prior to joining the firm, Madelyn served as a law clerk for the Honorable Daniel P. Collins of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Upon graduating from Harvard Law School, Madelyn worked as a litigation associate at Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP in Los Angeles, where she received an ACLU Immigrants’ Rights Award for her pro bono work challenging warrantless arrest tactics. As part of that pro bono litigation, Madelyn took depositions of two Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers, led deposition preparation sessions for clients, and drafted sections of dispositive motions.
