Lyle Stewart is an associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he is a member of the technology transactions practice.

Prior to his legal career and full-time during law school, Lyle was a software developer in both federal government and private sector roles. He draws on his engineering background to advise clients on a wide array of intellectual property, information technology, artificial intelligence, software licensing, open source, and cloud computing matters. Lyle also advises clients on commercial contracting matters, including strategic alliances, manufacturing and sales, professional services, outsourcing, carveouts, data centers and storage, and information technology integration.

Lyle has prior experience as a business owner, which he relies on to advise entrepreneurs and start-ups on business formation, commercial agreements, and certain regulatory compliance, bringing a practical understanding of their operational challenges.

Lyle is a member of the Federal Communications Bar Association and a Certified Information Privacy Professional, recognized by the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
