Dr. Lily Zhang is a patent agent in the New York office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where she is a member of the patents and innovations group. Her practice focuses on patent prosecution across multidisciplinary fields, including immunology, microbiology, genomics, bioinformatics, AI/machine learning, molecular diagnostics, and related technologies.

Prior to joining the firm, Lily completed her doctoral degree in computational biology at New York University. Her Ph.D. dissertation focused on investigating how the gut microbiome affects immune cells in cancer immunotherapy patients using computational methods. She was also a licensing intern at New York University's technology transfer office, where she worked on technology marketing.
