Leah Murphy is an associate in the New York office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where she is a member of the internet strategy and litigation group. Leah’s practice focuses on litigating and advising on a range of issues facing internet and media companies, including content moderation, copyright, privacy, Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, and the First Amendment.
Prior to joining Wilson Sonsini, Leah was an associate at another large firm, where she litigated on behalf of and counseled clients on matters related to privacy, data protection, and cybersecurity. She has experience litigating claims under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Defend Trade Secrets Act and has represented pro bono clients in immigration and family court proceedings. Leah also served as a law clerk to Justice Rachel Wainer Apter of the New Jersey Supreme Court.
