Julie Manning is a corporate attorney at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where she focuses on advising and supporting early-stage companies through formation, equity and convertible-debt financings, corporate governance, and related legal matters.

Julie began her career as a law clerk for the Honorable James B. Zagel in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Following her clerkship, she joined Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal in the Chicago office, where she worked as an associate in the corporate department handling a wide range of corporate and securities transactions for both public and private companies. After her time at Sonnenschein, Julie transitioned to working independently as both a lawyer and business advisor. In this role, she provided legal counsel and strategic guidance to small businesses and individuals, which allowed her to refine her ability to navigate legal and business challenges with a practical, solutions-focused approach.

Julie is practicing virtually in Idaho, where she is licensed.
