John Krocak is Of Counsel in the Century City office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he is an attorney in the mergers and acquisitions practice. He primarily works with clients in the life sciences and technology industries. He has also spent significant time representing public and private life sciences companies in intellectual property and commercial transactions, including strategic alliances, research and development collaborations, and technology licenses.

John previously joined Wilson Sonsini as a technology transactions (biotech) attorney in 2020. In 2022, he left to pursue an in-house leadership opportunity at Illumina. In 2026, he rejoined the firm as an M&A attorney. John has held multiple in-house roles of increasing responsibility at life sciences and diagnostic companies, including Amgen and Beckman Coulter. He began his legal practice at Kirkland & Ellis in Chicago, where he was a corporate partner representing public and private companies in various transactional and finance matters.
