After nearly 25 years of experience as a litigator, Jessica retired as a partner in 2025. During her 15 years as a partner at the firm, Jessica advised clients on a wide range of commercial and IP-related litigation matters. Jessica represented clients in federal and state courts, as well as in arbitration.
Having previously served as Litigation Chair of the Career Development Committee, Jessica currently serves as the firm’s Director of Litigation Career Development. In this capacity, Jessica is integrally involved in a wide range of issues impacting litigation associates.
Jessica Margolis retired as a partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in 2025. Jessica came to the firm in 2005 as one of the first attorneys resident in the New York Office and was elevated to partner in 2010. As a member of the Complex Litigation group, Jessica specialized in general commercial, intellectual property, and other complex litigation. Jessica has experience in all stages of the litigation process, from inception of an action through discovery, motion practice, trial, and appeal. She has significant experience litigating in federal and state courts, as well as representing clients in arbitration.
During her time as a partner, Jessica served as Litigation Chair of the Career Development Committee. In addition to being a partner emeritus, Jessica currently serves as Director of Litigation Career Development at the firm.
From 2001 to 2002, Jessica clerked for the Honorable Barbara S. Jones of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Prior to joining Wilson Sonsini, Jessica was a litigation associate with Debevoise & Plimpton.
