Ivey Dyson is an associate in the New York office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where she is a member of the firm's internet strategy and litigation practice. Ivey's practice focuses on litigating and advising on a range of issues facing internet and media companies, including copyright, privacy, First Amendment, and novel legal issues related to generative and agentic artificial intelligence.
Prior to joining Wilson Sonsini, Ivey was counsel in the Brennan Center for Justice's Liberty and National Security Program. There, she advised elected officials, government agencies, and tech companies on civil liberties issues related to law enforcement and intelligence agencies' use of surveillance technologies and litigated state and federal open records requests. She has been published in Just Security, City & State New York, the New York Daily News, and Univision, and her work has been featured in Bloomberg Law, Puck News, and StateScoop.
During law school, Ivey served as the executive editor of the Berkeley Journal of International Law and as a research assistant for Professor Laurel Fletcher.
