David M. Fox is a litigation associate in the San Francisco office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where his practice focuses on resolving clients’ high-stakes and complex disputes at the intersection of intellectual property, artificial intelligence, and emerging issues in internet law. David represents clients across a wide range of technologies and industries, including consumer electronics, pharmaceutical products, and fintech.

David has represented Google, Samsung, TikTok, and other Fortune 100 companies in both federal and state court. He also maintains a robust pro bono practice that includes representing the “small guy” when others won’t. David’s previous experience founding a national nonprofit organization, coupled with his time in private practice and a federal clerkship, gives him valuable insight into obtaining favorable results for clients in and out of court.

Prior to joining the firm, David served as a law clerk to the Honorable Judge Consuelo Callahan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Before his clerkship, he was a litigation associate at Paul Hastings LLP, where he focused on patent and trade secret litigation.
