Catherine (Caty) Lacey is Of Counsel in the San Francisco office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Her practice focuses on intellectual property disputes, with an emphasis on patent and trade secret litigation. Caty has represented clients in high-stakes litigation involving medical and wearable devices, computer and mobile hardware and software, networking technology and security, and industrial chemistry. She has significant experience at all stages of litigation, from counseling clients prior to filing through examining witnesses at trial, and litigating appeals. Caty has also practiced in district courts across the United States, the Federal Circuit, California state court, and in arbitration. She has particular experience in complex, multi-jurisdictional matters involving simultaneous proceedings in the PTO, the ITC, and Europe.

Prior to joining Wilson Sonsini, Caty was with the San Francisco office of law firm Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan.
