Annmarie Messing is an associate in the San Diego office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where she is a member of the firm's patents and innovations group. She assists in patent prosecution and intellectual property in the fields of biotechnology, life sciences, medical device, material science, and other engineering fields.
During law school, Annmarie conducted research on the regulatory disclosure of AI use in drug development and discovery for Professor Arti Rai. While pursuing her degree in bioengineering, Annmarie participated in the creative inquiry program as an undergraduate student at Clemson, in which she worked with clinicians in designing medical devices.
