Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati has again been recognized among the best U.S. law firms for racial and ethnic minority attorneys on Law360's 2019 Diversity Snapshot, this time ahead of all other firms. WSGR ranked the No. 1. spot on the list of Best Firms for Minority Attorneys in the large firm category. The rankings are based on the percentage of minority attorneys at both the partner and non-partner levels at firms with more than 600 lawyers. WSGR was noted for its high percentage of total minority attorneys (28.1 percent); minority nonpartners (30.7 percent); total minority partners (20.4 percent); and minority equity partners (20.4 percent). Nationwide, just over 16 percent of attorneys and about 9 percent of partners are minorities, similar to last year.

This top ranking follows The American Lawyer's recent 2019 Diversity Scorecard, which ranked WSGR No. 4 overall in the annual scorecard, one of the best-known benchmarks measuring law firm diversity. In addition to the overall ranking, WSGR ranked No. 3 for both the highest percentage of minority partners and for the highest percentage of Asian-American attorneys.
