WSGR Named Finalist and Capital Markets Winner in The Recorder's Corporate Department of the Year Awards

On March 31, 2016, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati was named an overall finalist and winner of the capital markets category in The Recorder"s annual "Corporate Department of the Year" awards. WSGR corporate partner Marty Korman was also recognized by the publication as a trusted advisor for his M&A work.

In the article, WSGR was recognized for its involvement in "huge deals" and "marquee IPOs" for clients, including offerings for Square, GoDaddy, and NantKwest–which was the largest biotech IPO in history, according to news reports.

In addition, Marty, who leads the firm's M&A and private equity practices, was selected by the publication as one of ten trusted advisors whom "clients turn to for strategic counsel and valued industry insights." Marty represents both public and private companies in purchase and sale transactions, particularly in the technology sector.
