To arrive at the 2021 rankings, the WTR 1000 research team conducted face-to-face and telephone interviews with hundreds of attorneys and clients involved with trademarks. This year, research was expanded to increase the guide’s scope, identifying the leading firms and individuals in more than 80 jurisdictions around the world. Factors such as depth of expertise, market presence, and the level of work on which they are typically instructed were all taken into account, alongside positive peer and client feedback.
