On September 26, 2023, Law360 Pulse ranked the top 100 firms recognized for taking the greatest strides in social responsibility in its "Social Impact Leaders" rankings, the first in a trio of rankings looking into what makes a law firm a leader in the field. The ranking is pulled from five categories including racial and ethnic diversity, gender equality, employee engagement, pro bono service, and responsible business. The scores from these categories are averaged to generate an overall "Social Impact" score. Out of the top 100 firms, Wilson Sonsini ranked No. 8 with an overall social impact score of 63.2 and ranked No. 32 for total hours of pro bono service provided with a score of 45.8.
