In November 2022, the Licensing Executives Society (LES) of the U.S. and Canada announced the LES Deals of Distinction Award winners, an annual program recognizing worthy licensing deals in the industry. This year, an IGM Biosciences and Sanofi deal led by Wilson Sonsini won the Deal of Distinction Award - Life Sciences Sector. The deal was recognized in particular for "technology increasing the specificity and effectiveness of IgM antibody medicines."

The deal, inked on March 29, 2022, is an exclusive worldwide collaboration agreement to create, develop, manufacture, and commercialize IgM antibody agonists against three oncology targets and three immunology/inflammation targets. Wilson Sonsini was advisor to IGM Biosciences in the transaction.
