Ku has joined the firm's corporate and securities practice as a partner in the Los Angeles office. Ku was previously a corporate partner in the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP.

Ku represents both public and private companies and private equity funds in a variety of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financings, and joint ventures. She also advises clients on corporate governance and securities compliance matters. In addition, she has experience representing special committees of boards of directors in connection with buy-out matters.
Prior to joining Munger, Tolles & Olson in 2005, Ku served as a law clerk for Judge Alex Kozinski of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and for Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg of the U.S. Supreme Court.
Ku earned her J.D. from UCLA School of Law in 2003. She received a B.A. in history and literature, cum laude, from Harvard University in 1996. She is admitted to practice in California.
