Wilson Sonsini advised Tuskira, a cybersecurity threat defense platform leveraging an AI-powered security mesh, as it emerged from stealth with $28.5 million in funding. The financing, announced on December 4, 2024, was led by Intel Capital and SYN Ventures. Sorenson Capital, Rain Capital, Wipro Ventures, and other key industry leaders also participated in the round.
Founded by cybersecurity veterans Piyush Sharma, Vipul Parmar, and Om Moolchandani, Tuskira seeks to preempt cybersecurity threats and optimize security operations by addressing the unique challenges posed by AI-enhanced cyberattacks. In January 2025, CRN named Tuskira one of the 10 Cybersecurity Startups to Watch in 2025.
The Wilson Sonsini team that advised Tuskira on the transaction was led by Brady Berg and Benjamin Armuth.
