On September 8, 2026, early-stage venture fund GCVC, backed by more than 50 sitting general counsels from prominent private and public companies, announced its launch. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati is the first law firm to invest in the fund, and the firm’s Fund Services group, led by Brad Doline, represented GCVC in the transaction.
Founded by Bilt Technologies general counsel and chief compliance officer Erick Rabin and former Fenwick & West attorney Matthew Holbreich, GCVC will invest in early-stage legal, regulatory, and compliance technology start-ups. Its first investments are Glaze AI Inc. (dba Sandstone), a legal technology company focused on self-service access to legal information, and Stilta IP AB, an AI company for patent work.
