Moe is noted for his work in one of the largest Medicare fraud cases against individual providers in New York history, where he achieved vindication at trial for an occupational therapist accused of submitting $34 million in fraudulent Medicare claims as part of a criminal scheme, and a seven-year case that began with former chief investment officer of Platinum Partners David Levy being accused of participating in “the largest Ponzi scheme since Bernie Madoff” and ended with him receiving no sentence.
